A woman threw a cup of urine at a DC Metrobus driver after being told to “Have a nice day,” in a tone she didn’t like, according to a new report.

Opal Brown, 38, turned herself in to police on Wednesday in connection with the Aug 26. assault, and told NBC affiliate News4 she hates the city’s metro system, the station reported.

“I was provoked. I hate Metro,” said Brown, who’s lived in DC her whole life. “I’ve been catching Metro for 35 years. They’ve done s— for me.”

The straphanger said she flung a cup of urine at the driver because she didn’t like her tone.

“She said ‘Have a nice day’ all sarcastically,” Brown said. “She could have been more courteous.”

The woman said she relieved herself into a purple to-go cup while on the bus and had intended to throw it out.

Instead, she threw it at the driver and then ran away.

“To say bizarre is really an understatement. It’s a vulgar assault,” Metro Transit Police Chief Ron Pavlik said.

The driver was taken to a hospital and “decontaminated,” police said.

Brown has three children, one grandchild and is a theological student. She will be charged with simple assault, police said.

There were 75 recorded assaults on Metro bus operators in 2016, down from 87 in 2015, according to the Washington Post.
