Is Bill O’Reilly Finally Fired?

Another woman has come forward against Bill O’Reilly. This could be the nail in his Fox News coffin. Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola, hosts of The Young Turks, discuss. Tell us what you think in the comment section below.

“What once seemed unimaginable now seems at least possible.

New York Magazine’s Gabriel Sherman reported Tuesday that the Murdoch family is “leaning” toward pulling Bill O’Reilly off of Fox News’ airwaves in the middle of growing pressure from advertisers and activist groups.

The report comes amid a separate claim by attorney Lisa Bloom that O’Reilly used to call a black woman who worked as a clerical worker at Fox News “hot chocolate” during her time at the network in 2008. The television host would reportedly make her feel uncomfortable in other ways as well.”

In 2002 Cenk Uygur launched an online program called "The Young Turks," which he billed as the first video news show on the Internet. In December 2011 Uygur took the program, with his name added to the title to differentiate it from the online show, to television on Current TV. The nightly show features guests who offer their opinions on topics from the worlds of politics and pop culture. Although Uygur was born in Turkey, the show's title is not related to his nationality. It refers to a phrase used to describe someone who is an insurgent or radical in a political party who advocates for changes in the group.

  1. I've heard some talk of Rush Limbaugh taking his spot. Sources close to Limbaugh have indicated that some very hush hush discussions have occurred. Do not be surprised if Rush makes a major announcement on his show in the not to distant future.

  2. …. the kicking into the kerb of oreilly by FoxNews should not cloud the main issue, which is ,that the "Murdoch Media Machine" has nil scruples ,morals nor ethics.
They will trawl the cesspool of right-wing pundits , 'til they find another version of oreilly to fill his space.

  3. Why do you guys bother with the subtitles? It's a complete mystery. They look as if they are written by a complete imbecile (sorry but just sayin'), and why do you need them anyway?
