Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson and former Massachusetts Governor Bill Weld have secured the Libertarian Party presidential and vice presidential nominations respectively. To discuss the ticket and how it might do in the 2016 presidential elections, Reason.com columnist and associate editor Ed Krayewski joins RT America’s Lindsay France. Also, the chair of the Center for Equal Opportunity, Linda Chavez, is in the FishTank to talk about identity politics in the 2016 election cycle and how it differs from previous election years.

  1. Weld friend of Hillary Clinton..
Bill Clinton wanted to name him ambassador to Mexico…
    Voted for Obama in 2008…
What kind of Libertarian is Weld?…
Koch brothers prefer Hillary over Trump …
Koch brothers giving $$ to Johnson and Weld…
only one logical conclusion can be drawn from this…

  2. Dear Ed…

If you come in and claim the Libertarians shouldn't have a problem with taking Koch money, you're beyond biased, PARTICULARLY in how they've corrupted the Republican party. The reason people are upset about Weld and Johnson was because they felt it was rigged for BOTH of them and undermined popular sentiment. It's beyond ridiculous that you want to protect your corporate masters and don't think their money won't corrupt any party it touches similar to a Midas Touch!
