Trump campaigned on being against stupid wars like Iraq. Now he’s trying to start as many as he can. Cenk Uygur and John Iadarola, hosts of The Young Turks, discuss. Tell us what you think in the comment section below. http://tytnetwork.com/go

“Vice President Mike Pence warned North Korea on Monday not to test American resolve, but he also raised the possibility that the Trump administration could pursue talks.

The message, delivered by Mr. Pence on a visit to South Korea that included a stop at the demilitarized zone that divides the Korean Peninsula, showed that the administration, while talking tough, was not ruling out negotiations.

North Korea should not test “the strength of the armed forces of the United States in this region,” Mr. Pence said in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Yet, he also noted that Washington was seeking security “through peaceable means, through negotiations.”

Though North Korea refrained from detonating a nuclear device and saw another missile test fail this weekend, the Trump administration has not yet found a way around the limited options against the North that constrained his predecessors and put it on the path to becoming a nuclear power.”*

  1. Trump: I respect N. Korea. Kim Jong Un is a personal friend of mine. A true leader. Not weak like Obama. But I also respect S. Korea, because they make those cute, little SUVs that hamsters drive. So I guess I'll be fair and just bomb the DMZ.

  2. America is not well, most other countries think killing is a big thing, the don't have capital punishment, they make investigations when a police has fired a weapon, they are not in constant wars on the opposite side of the planet, they don't have a murder program killing people in other countries and they don't have journalists that will play music and laugh while showing it on TV. Basically, America, you're sick and you need help.

  3. North Korea is an obvious choice, and I hope he does. Would put somone else in charge who understands what he faces when he tries to go against us or our allies, and might even feed his people too, or does the Left love that North Korean's starve while Kim develops Nukes to wage war against the West? F*** him. He wants a war. I say let him have it. He'll find out real quick just how strong we really are.

  4. Yemen, least likely to be a disaster, but most heinous of all. Iran, do we want an enemy a sizable submarine fleet? Mexico will probably receive widespread international support. North Korea has the worlds largest army and may receive supplies from Russia or China who don't like the thought of US troops sitting on their boarders. As for Russia, MAD.
