  1. Peoria, Illinois is filled with Lebanese people. Lots of Arabs here and the culture has definitely left its mark. Although I as there have been fewer immigrants from the region in recent years. Somewhat strangely many came from the same town Itoo, Lebabon (or Aitou, Lebanon as Wikipedia has it listed but the Itoo society spells it Itoo) and there are now more people from Itoo living in Peoria than in Itoo. My family (just my mother's half) is Palestinian, of which there are fewer here but since as the video points the cultures are incredibly similar.
