Former mixed martial arts fighter War Machine was found guilty of sexual assault and kidnapping on Monday stemming from a grisly attack on his ex-porn star girlfriend and her male friend.

But the 12-person jury was unable to reach a verdict when it came to the two charges of attempted murder of girlfriend Christine Mackinday and friend Corey Thomas.

The jury deliberated since Friday before convicting War Machine, who legally changed his name from Jon Koppenhaver, on 29 of the 34 charges tied to the August 2014 attack at Mackinday’s home in Las Vegas.

Koppenhaver, 35, was acquitted of burglary with a deadly weapon, sexually-motivated coercion and battery with intent to commit sexual assault.

Prosecutors argued that Koppenhaver beat 25-year-old Mackinday for nearly two hours before she was able to escape to get help.

Mackinday, who is known as Christy Mack, testified that she was clothed in bed with Thomas when the ex-fighter stormed into her home and assaulted them.

She was hospitalized with numerous bodily injuries, including a broken nose, lacerated liver, lost teeth and a fractured rib.

The jury comprised of six men and six women heard eight days of testimony before deciding Koppenhaver’s fate.

Prosecutor Jacqueline Bluth said that the ex-fighter faces life in prison without parole despite dodging the attempted murder charges, news station KVVU reported. His sentencing was scheduled for June 5.
